A new moon happens once a month when the moon and the sun conjoin in the sky, setting off a new cycle of light. When the moon is new, it's invisible to us on Earth, then it slowly appears as a very thin crescent of light.

The new moon is a time to set intentions and launch new projects. Since new moons happen once a month and signify the beginning of a cycle, you can think of them as a reset. The new moon is an ideal time to set intentions and goals that you'll develop as the moon becomes full. Connecting to these lunar energies can provide grounding and a sense of direction.

The New Moon in Cancer is a good time to commit to personal goals that express the positive energies of the sign of the Crab. These include honoring our deepest, most irrational and intimate, feelings; recognizing the sense of security and safety we derive from whatever it is we call home; allowing ourselves to accept support and offering support to others; and starting a project aimed at improving our domestic lives or a major long-term venture. With this potent Cancer energy, we have the chance to make important changes in our lives that will benefit us well beyond this Moon cycle.

It's been quite a year, to say the least.

We have been relying on our whole being to keep up with the uncertainties, fears, grief, frustrations. Our nervous system has been overwhelmed, our spirit has been challenged, our body is tired. 

It's time to come home.

Coming home to your being, to the root of you. Coming home to the safety and comfort of your inner knowing and your healing body. 

This 2-hour workshop with Kit and Lori will help you do just that. By the end of our time together, your body will be refreshed, your mind will be relaxed and your soul will be restored. 

Kit will provide gentle acupuncture and guided visualization while Lori will offer Urban Zen modalities (including restorative yoga, reiki, essential oils and more).

Kit is a licensed acupuncturist, hypnotherapist and coach, practicing as an integrative healer for over 20 years. She's passionate about helping her patients and clients tap into their inner wisdom to heal holistically, so they can come home to themselves and live the healthiest life they actually enjoy.  

Lori Guth (rhymes with booth) has taught restorative yoga and Reiki for 18 years, guiding students from all walks of life with the motto: “Slow down, do less to be more.” In 2010, Lori completed Donna Karan’s Urban Zen Integrative Therapy (UZIT) program, whose mission is to shift the healthcare paradigm by treating the person as well as the disease. Lori has fulfilled UZIT’s mission as the UZIT program director at Wexner Heritage Village’s Zusman Hospice since 2012 and at the OSU Wexner Medical Center’s Hospice of Central Ohio since 2019. 

**Wear loose, comfortable clothing. Eat a light meal before the workshop. Come prepare to be transformed.**
