Where are you from?
Born in Washington DC, but moved to Bexley when I was a few months old. Went to Clemson for my undergrad (Go Tigers!) + then moved back to Columbus.
What are some of your hobbies?
My one year old baby, Harper, is my latest hobby! I could spend ALL the time in the world with her + my husband + our Australian Labradoodle, Summit!
I love learning all things nutrition and wellness. In 2018, after realizing I had some hormonal imbalances and fertility issues, I became obsessed with learning about the body and trying to get to the root cause - the WHY. Since then, I have received my holistic health coaching certification at IIN and am now a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner. I love to share my love for wellness through what I have learned and healthy recipes!
What are you doing on the weekends?
A slow morning in bed with the family and coffee. Maybe a walk outside or class at Be Well. I love to travel, but a slow weekend is ideal for me!
What does it mean to “Be Well”?
To be well means to do what YOU need to feel like your best self. It's not about pleasing other people, but getting back to what makes YOU happy. You can't fill someone else's cup until yours is full. This looks different for me each day, but I always come back to eating foods that fuel me, movement, hydration, sleep, good mental health, solid relationships and sunshine. I've learned to not be so hard on myself - balance is everything.
Fun Facts :
-I am a big introvert - being alone, cleaning my house, watching reality TV, reading a book or taking a long walk refuels me. Once I am refueled, I love to be with other people
-I’ve known my husband since kindergarten!
